Updated guides for day-to-day SEOlerts operations: onboarding, crawl status, alert triage, and plan limits.

First Site Workflow

  1. Use Arm a new site from Dashboard or the sidebar.
  2. Wait until crawl status reaches Complete.
  3. Review the site card and domain detail counts.
  4. Open Alerts and triage anything unexpected.

Crawl Status Meanings

  • Queued: request accepted, waiting for worker capacity.
  • Crawling: discovery/checks are currently running.
  • Complete: latest crawl snapshot is ready to review.
  • Error: worker failed and should be retried or investigated.

Plans and Quotas

Your current plan and quota usage are shown in the sidebar and dashboard.

  • If domain usage reaches the plan limit, Arm a new site is disabled.
  • You will see an upgrade prompt near the limit.
  • Tier-limit API responses are shown as a friendly message with an upgrade path.

FAQ

I added a site but do not see rows yet. Is that expected?

Yes. New sites can show crawling before the first row set is complete. Wait for Complete status, then refresh the page.

Why did alerts fire after a planned deploy?

Deploys often change canonical tags, headings, or metadata. Resolve known changes, then re-check to capture the new baseline.

Why is Arm a new site disabled?

This means your account is currently at the domain quota for your plan tier. Open pricing to upgrade and continue onboarding sites.

Where can I see my current tier and usage?

You can view plan tier plus domain/URL usage in the sidebar, dashboard summary panel, and account page.
